Lasting Light Poetry

In times of aimless wandering
When nothing's clear or right
I bow my head and look above
For courage and insight

The darkness can be heavy
And lonely in the night
But a ray of hope remains
From His faithful, lasting light

Please shine along the pathway
When I'm weary of the fight
Your love's a constant beacon
Oh so vigilant and bright

"No coward soul is mine,
No trembler in the world's
storm-troubled sphere:
I see the Heaven's
glories shine,
and faith shines equal,
arming me from fear."
