Artwork of Robert Williams
Together

Sharing the quiet
On a sweet summer's day
My bestfriend beside me
Lazy hours drift away

These moments are perfect
We sit and reflect
Of this thing and that
Like the day that we met

You love fresh raspberries
They're here in a dish
After all you brought chocolates
Seems there's nothing you missed!

This day's framed in memories
Smiles and laughter we've shared
And the times sorrow found me
You were the first to be there

On this journey of life
When I feel so alone
You're there to remind me
I'm really not on my own

Well, let me go fetch us
Some fresh lemonade
And we'll dream a little longer
In the soft summer shade

Do not save your loving speeches
For your friends till they are dead;
Do not write them on their tombstones,
Speak them rather now instead.
