Step lightly on the glistening sand As you wade along the shore For there are shells and pebbles there From the depths of the ocean's floor
As the sunset starts to fade And I stop and find I'm mesmerized By the sound of dancing waves
But I won't look up to see For there are mysteries I seek Lying right here at my feet
Gives me a sudden chill And I catch my hat as a sudden breeze Dissolves my once strong will
That leads to where I'll stay And the warming glow of a single light Beckons me from evening's play
