Precious in His Sight

Precious in His Sight

Smiles that melt the heart away
Reaching for words she's learning to say
Dancing and dreaming and looking at life
Through eyes not yet tainted
By heartache and strife

Embracing the world as it unfolds at her feet
Begging her mama for just one more treat
Heart that is open and eager to learn
And she shuffles her feet as she's waiting her turn

What gift will you give her to last her life long?
The knowledge of Jesus, through teaching and song
You know that He loves her, even more than you do
So hard to believe, but you know that it's true

Place her so gently in His loving hands
She's God's dearest treasure, you do understand?
Then let your heart rest, you've done all you can
He'll take it from there, for He holds the plan

Where there is
great love there are
always miracles.
