I Wonder

If I am always there for you
Will you be there for me?
I've offered up my heart so true
I'm sure you plainly see

Will you allow such happiness
As only we can share?
Or will you settle for much less
Than a love beyond compare?

Life offers us a chance but once
To set the story right
And give us all we ever need
To cherish in our life

If you would only stop to see
What gifts I have for you
You'd let go of your misery
And know just what to do

I know this like I know my name
So why should I pretend?
I know you're feeling just the same
Why not let the song begin?
