Thomas Kinkade

There is a hush across the nation
As the world's turmoil is felt
The assault upon our homeland
Was a blow unfairly dealt

This year some folks are missing
But their memory's burning bright
Between the sorrow and the tears
Hope sheds a flickering light

We won't forget the pictures
They're forever in our mind
The morning peace came to an end
Was a dark day for mankind

Oh Silent Night, Oh Holy Night
Dear God, please hear our plea
Instill in us resolve like steel
To fight for liberty

Give us courage when we falter
When the storms are passing by
Our freedom and security
Comes with a price so very high

There's a hush across the nation
And our hearts do long for peace
But the battle will go on and on
Until threats and terror cease
