I'm doing better than I was
You've made all the difference
By not letting go of my trembling hand
No matter the circumstance
I wish the world were kinder
To souls who've lost their way
And give us all a second chance
As we seek a brighter day
I'm struggling to get up now
After falling down so hard
I see you with that helping hand
And it's like reaching for a star
Believe in me when I forget
All the reasons I persist
I'm getting back the strength I lost
And I'd love a hug and kiss
In the quiet of the midnight
It really helps to know
A love reaching through time and space
