In this world of uncertainty
I've found the place I wish to be
Right by your side through all life's storms
Feeling the love that keeps me warm

It isn't often this can be
The fates aren't always kind, you see
I'm thankful for the bond we share
Good times or bad, you're always there

Devoted love beats in my heart
It will linger on, should you depart
Like swans who join as one for life
I'll be there through the darkest night

Love knows no boundaries or time
When hearts are joined like yours and mine
I'm thankful for this treasure rare
A lasting love beyond compare

We watch the swans that sleep in a shadowy place,
And now and again one wakes and uplifts its head;
How Still you are--your gaze is on my face
We watch the swans and never a word is said
